Stein's Garden & Home

What has happened to this chain? Very poor service, items don’t ring up at advertised price and when I show the checkout clerk he didn’t know what to do, so he got another employee who lied and said these items were the ones on sale even though they sale sign was right next to the items.

I've always loved Steins but today will be my last time here. It just isn't what it used to be. Once again, nobody to help, prices not marked with no scanners or app to download to check prices. I used to look past the higher prices here but it's just not worth it anymore. I have just as much luck with plants from the home improvement stores with better service there. I had a boatload of stuff to buy at Steins today but ended up simply walking out and going elsewhere. Sad.

Good garden and gift center with a decent selection. Prices are higher but the store is very specialized to garden and home items.

I don't get here often, but when I do, I could spend hours looking at the giftware and clothing. I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of clothes that they carry. Staff is always friendly and not pushy. One of my favorite stores!

Terri at the front of the store is phenomenal! She is super kind, helpful, and greeted me when I came in. She helped me look for plants that were non toxic to plants but may help purify the air in our home. She also helped me look for outdoor plants and gave me some ideas. The store is very clean, beautiful, and well organized. I will mention that many plants outside are dead or dying due to too much sun.
